Biography of Rishabh Pant

Rishabh Pant grew up in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. He showed interest in cricket from an early age. As young as twelve years old, Rishabh would travel to Delhi with his mother Saroj Pant to get trained at the Sonnet Cricket Academy under the tutelage of Tarak Sinha. He was mentored into perfecting his batting technique — an effort that paid off immensely. Pant started playing U-19 cricket for Delhi against Assam and made his first-class debut in the 2015-16 Ranji Trophy which catapulted his career to notoriety. His fifty against Nepal was a record-breaking event that placed a lot of eyes on him. Feared among bowlers, his bat swing is famous in the field. And that’s only one of the several records he would break. One of his greatest feats was scoring a triple-hundred against Maharashtra. It was highly impressive to see someone reach such heights of achievement at just 18 years old. The young age of Rishabh Pant didn’t seem to be a problem when it came to progressing his career. This triple-hundred was impressive enough to earn him a call to India’s T20 squad for England’s tour of India 2017.

When starting out in the Indian Premier League, Pant had managed to impress a lot of people. The costs of his contract meant there were a lot of expectations for his performance. Pant not only met expectations but exceeded them. In particular, his second season, 2017 IPL, was p[articualrly impressive — it was one of the best in Rishabh Pant IPL career. When the Delhi Capitals retained him for the third season, he managed to pull the team through one of their roughest patches. While Pant’s performance has dwindled a little since his early days, most people close to him have faith in the player’s skills. Rishabh Pant vs Virat Kohli

To compare Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant is to do a bit of a disservice to both players. They both have different strengths and weaknesses that set them apart from each other. Virat Kohli is the current captain of the India national team. He has been consistently regarded as one of the top-ranked batsmen in the world according to the ICC rankings.  He has experience and tenacity at his side as he’s played for longer than Rashabh. Kohli’s leadership skills are second-to-none and the technical skills he’s exhibited are the result of hard training. On the flip side, Pant has time on his side. He’s still young with a long career ahead of him. People often compare Virat Kohli more to MS Dhoni than anyone else. After all, they’re both fearless wicketkeeper batsmen and their captaincy skills are often compared. Not to mention that Virat can play a wide variety of strokes when it comes to technique, something that Rishabh is lacking but can easily learn in the years ahead of him.

He’s a vegetarian who enjoys changing styles often as he gets bored of his look pretty quickly. Check meme with Rishabh Pant!
